Job Title: Senior Financial Operations Manager

This is a pivotal role with broad responsibilities, ranging from financial management and leadership to compliance and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversight of all property account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and ongoing upkeep.
\
2. Leadership in agreeing tenant and client payment plans, ensuring compliance and sound financial judgement.
\
3. Strategic oversight of property onboarding and disengagement processes, including financial setup and liaison with internal teams.
\
4. Management of property insurance, including renewals and maintaining appropriate cover across the portfolio.
\
5. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practice at all times.
\
6. Establishment, implementation, and management of effective internal controls to safeguard client funds and ensure accurate financial reporting.
\
7. Preparation of annual accounting packs, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and supporting schedules.
\
8. Collaboration with property managers, surveyors, H&S, and the COO to provide financial insight and operational support.
\
9. Supervision of outsourced bookkeeping and accounting partners, ensuring deliverables are met and reviewing quarterly management accounts for accuracy and insights.
\
10. Leadership, mentorship, and development of a team of property management accountants, setting objectives and conducting performance reviews.
\
11. Continual improvement of financial systems, reporting processes, and team development.
\
12. Maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
