As a Senior Medical Deployment Officer you will be involved in working with Resident doctors and senior colleagues to manage our Resident doctors rotas. You will also oversee the procurement of locum cover where vacancies occur; ensuring that at all times the most cost effective option is achieved.

We are seeking highly skilled administrators to join our Medical Deployment Team as Senior Medical Deployment Officer where you will join our team to ensure the provision of high quality patient care by efficiently deploying Resident medical staff into our workforce., Please see the job description for more detail, however if you are a strong administrator with an eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast paced and demanding role where things can change at a drop of a hat, then this could be the role for you.
As you will be working in a busy environment with rapidly changing demands, you will need to manage your own priorities to meet the demands of the service. Excellent communication skills are required at all levels, as is the ability to maintain attention to detail whilst working under pressure.
It would be advantageous if you have knowledge of NHS Doctor's rota issues, including National initiatives and Working Time Directive. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, is essential.. Experience of working in the NHS and with electronic rostering systems is desirable, but if you are confident with IT and enjoy learning at pace, then look no further.
