A client within the Public Sector, based in Warwickshire, is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their Assets Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority or public sector environment. The Role Key Purpose of the Role To undertake a full range of Project Management and Building Surveying duties in order to maintain and improve the Council’s property portfolio and housing stock, ensuring all landlord and service provider responsibilities are met in line with current and forthcoming legislation. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Planning, specifying, procuring, managing and delivering planned works projects and cyclical maintenance contracts across the Council’s asset portfolio Undertaking stock condition surveys, measured surveys, defect inspections, feasibility studies and post-inspections Preparing technical reports, drawings, tender and works specifications, RIBA work plans and statutory applications Managing and administering contracts, including valuations, interim payments, final accounts and contractor performance Acting as a point of contact for clients and customers, providing technical advice and managing enquiries through to completionThe Candidate Essential Qualifications & Experience To be considered for this ro...
