Join Us as an Environment & Sustainability Manager
At the CWA, we\'re on a mission to power millions of homes with clean, reliable electricity through the ambitious Sizewell C project. We\'re seeking a dedicated Environment & Sustainability Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the project\'s environmental and sustainability standards are not just met, but exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement the project\'s Environmental and Sustainability strategy.
* Advise project team members at all levels, providing leadership in sustainability risk management.
* Support and coach Environmental and Sustainability advisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Conduct inspections and audits, utilizing data to drive sustainability action plans.
* Build relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and share best practices.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in the infrastructure industry within environmental and/or sustainability roles.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams.
* A relevant degree and proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of influencing positive change.
* Experience in implementing ISO14001 standards.
Desirable Qualifications
* Chartered environmental professional status and ecological survey experience.
* Knowledge of Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).
