Neurodevelopmental Practitioner – Specialist Children’s Services
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is recruiting a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join the Specialist Children’s Services team. The role focuses on neurodevelopmental assessment, diagnosis and intervention across the neurodevelopment (ND) pathway.
Key Information
Permanent post, part‑time: 27.75 hours per week. Salary pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Support neurodevelopmental assessment and post‑diagnostic intervention for children and young people.
* Work as a core part of the North team and contribute to multidisciplinary assessment and intervention.
* Collaborate with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Specialist Community Paediatrics teams, and educational settings.
* Provide consultancy and support across the wider children’s services, demonstrating uni‑professional added value.
* Maintain professional supervision and contribute to evidence‑based practice.
Key Qualifications
* Registered with HCPC/NMC (or equivalent professional body) and possess relevant experience in neurodevelopmental assessment, diagnosis, and support strategies.
* Strong organisational and motivational skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Proficient in team working and able to demonstrate evidence‑based practice.
* Experience in assessment and intervention for children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences is advantageous.
