Our client, a well-established service centre in Poole, Dorset, is actively recruiting a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated motor trade professional to further develop their diagnostic and mechanical skills in a modern workshop environment.

Duties
* Carrying out diagnostics and repairs on a broad range of vehicles
* Performing engine work, clutch replacements, cambelt changes, and other complex mechanical tasks
* Diagnosing electrical and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic tools
* Conducting MOT testing where applicable (if qualified)
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard within allocated times
* Maintaining accurate records of diagnostics and repairs
* Working collaboratively with team members to meet workshop targets and quality standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the motor trade
* Strong diagnostic skills and a good understanding of vehicle electronics and engine systems
* Ability to perform timing belt, cambelt changes, and other advanced mechanical procedures
* MOT Tester certification (advantageous)
* Master Technician or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician level experience preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
