We are looking for a driven, and passionate superstar to join Sunday Riley as our Liberty Counter Manager. The Counter Manager’s primary role is to manage, coordinate and promote Sunday Riley within retail and beauty treatments based in the store, ensuring that the team and accounts achieve and exceed set targets and KPI’s by providing excellent customer service and ensuring operational efficiency. We are looking for an inspirational and visible leader, experienced in people management to lead and support our incredible team.
The ideal candidate must enjoy the retail environment and must have a strong background in the beauty industry, sales, and customer experience. Professional Beauty Therapy qualifications are desirable but not essential. The candidate must be a stellar seller, organised, responsible, detail-oriented, a self-starter, a multi-tasker and possess strong follow-up skills. Communication skills, timely reporting practices, follow-through, and a collaborative approach with Regional Manager UK & I to develop strategic in-store sales and activities are a must.
Duties include:
* To deliver exceptional customer service to all potential/actual customers.
* Grow retail by achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s, increase volume, productivity, and occupancy.
* Schedule appointments, ensuring efficient use of treatment rooms and resources.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
* Timely and accurate reporting
* To ensure adequate stock levels, monitor tester and sample usage by liaising with HO teams
* Maximize sales and enhance customer experience through locally organized in store events
* Continuously monitor business and retail to recognize areas of opportunities for growth
* To develop excellent in-store relationships with management/peers.
* Effectively plan scheduling, holidays, absence and reporting to line manager
* Ensure smooth running of events, promotional activities
* Demonstrate commercial awareness of competitor activity
* Liaise with line manager on performance appraisal process
* To train, coach and direct team
* To ensure that all company and store procedures are followed and adhered to
Product Knowledge
* To demonstrate an in depth and fluent knowledge of all the Sunday Riley products, treatments, collections, features and benefits through detailed training with the education team.
* To have personal accountability for learning and development including own research and asking the back-office team for additional learning and questions. This includes attending all training provided and contributing to a group learning environment.
* To lead by example, motivating individual and team’s skills and knowledge
Store Environment
* To achieve and maintain an excellent retail and treatment environment with the highest standards in all areas of the sales floor, treatment room, supplies, tester and product replenishment and the stock room area.
* To support with floor moves and implementation of promotions whilst ensuring consistent delivery of housekeeping, presentation and personal grooming standards.
* To act in a responsible and positive manner at all times, ensuring that the Sunday Riley codes of practice, health and safety are adhered to and followed.
* To be responsible for ensuring, recording and reporting: the availability of our listed products, the store’s adherence to the visual merchandising agreements and brand standards, the availability of testers, sachets and samples.

Experiences and Skills Required:
* Minimum 3 years of retail, sales and/or beauty industry experience, with a proven experience in retail management, preferably in a beauty or skincare industry
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Beauty therapy qualifications would be advantageous but not a necessity
* Memorable, positive, professional and enthusiastic presence
* Passion for skincare.
* Strong aptitude for product knowledge, brand messaging and selling
* Experience working in an open-sell environment
* Experience in people management
* Self-motivated, committed and goal-oriented
* Energetic and passionate with an entrepreneurial, flexible, friendly spirit
* Flexibility regarding work hours, i.e. weekends
Work Location, Territory, and work week
* T his role is based in-store.
* This is a full-time role with 2 days off per week.
* This schedule requires a minimum of 3 weekends a month to be worked.
