You will have at least 2 years experience of delivering fast paced payrolls involving different pay elements and sets of terms and conditions.
This role plays a vital role in supporting staff retention by ensuring all Brandon colleagues’ pay and pensions are accurate, paid on time, and staff and managers are well supported with any pay queries, while also minimising pay errors, robustly controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and contractual responsibilities.
This is a Hybrid role and is based at our Head Office in Bradley, Stoke South Gloucestershire

Your responsibilities:
16. Resolve payroll and pension queries that arise during the month through our online helpdesk system in a timely manner, providing sensitive support to staff and managers, and ensuing this is accessible for colleagues with learning disabilities
17. Investigate and resolve pay errors and recover overpayments
18. Work collaboratively with other functions involved in the pay process (including the Payroll bureau, Planday rota team, HR team and line managers)
19. Assist with process improvement and guidance
20. Provide the pay bureau with a data workbook for each payrun identifying key items for processing
21. Assist with pensions administration for NEST, GPP, NHS and local government schemes
22. Check the pay data provided by the outsourced bureau is in line with Brandon and TUPEd pay terms and conditions and statutory requirements.
