Job Description
We are an established education agency currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across primary schools in the Chepstow area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a classroom setting.
The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with additional learning needs, either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Roles may include supporting children with SEN, behavioural needs, or general classroom learning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting pupils to access the curriculum
2. Assisting the class teacher with daily activities
3. Providing one-to-one or small group support where required
4. Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
5. Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
Requirements:
6. Experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
7. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
8. A genuine interest in supporting children’s education
9. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
10. Right to work in the UK
