Are you a passionate e-commerce professional with a proven ability to optimise and grow brands on Amazon and other online marketplaces? We are seeking a results-driven Strategist to manage a portfolio of our clients and maximise their success in the complex marketplace ecosystem.
This role goes beyond basic account management; you'll develop and execute comprehensive strategies to enhance product visibility through Amazon SEO, drive sales via Amazon Advertising (PPC), optimise conversion rates with engaging content and compelling product listings, brief the design team to create high-converting listing imagery, and ensure smooth operations through effective inventory management and fulfilment.
A crucial aspect of your role is building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with your portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor and advocate within the agency. You’ll understand their business goals and challenges, proactively identifying opportunities to drive growth, and ensuring overall satisfaction. This involves providing data-driven insights to inform marketplace strategy, communicating effectively, and championing client needs across internal teams to ensure exceptional service and outcomes.
Your Role: As an Account Strategist, you will serve as the dedicated and strategic point of contact for your assigned portfolio of marketplace clients, managing their marketplace presence from-tailored growth strategies to optimising listings for visibility and conversions. This includes managing inventory to ensure product availability, overseeing pricing strategies to maximise profitability, and monitoring performance across key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. The ultimate goal is to drive client satisfaction by delivering exceptional results and exceeding business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Marketplace Management: Develop and implement comprehensive marketplace strategies tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on growth and profitability
* Optimisation Expertise: Leverage marketplace knowledge to optimise performance, including SEO, PPC, product content, listing imagery with design collaboration, and overall selling strategy
* Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, providing proactive communication and strategic guidance
* Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyze marketplace performance data, identify trends and opportunities, and generate actionable reports with strategic recommendations
* Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day account management, including listing optimisation, inventory management, pricing, and order fulfilment
* Growth and Expansion: Identify and implement strategies to expand client reach within the marketplace ecosystem, including exploring new marketplaces or initiatives
Requirements
* Marketplace Management Expertise: Proven experience managing and optimising client accounts on online marketplaces with a track record of success
* Amazon Optimisation Skills: Strong expertise in Amazon SEO, Amazon PPC, product content optimisation, and Seller Central management
* Client-Centric Approach: A strong client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships
* Strategic Thinking and Execution: Ability to develop and implement effective marketplace strategies that drive measurable results
* Analytical and Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights
* Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for clients and internal stakeholders

* E-commerce Knowledge: Solid understanding of e-commerce principles and technologies
