Job summary
We are seeking a Patient Pathway Central Support Officer to help us deliver an efficient, high-quality medical records service within the Long Term and Unscheduled Care Directorate. This role is vital for ensuring safe patient care through effective administration of outpatient bookings and patient pathway management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping us meet our targets.

Job responsibilities
* Handle telephone queries from patients and service users, resolving issues, cancelling, and amending appointments.
* Support patient pathway booking teams with administrative tasks and specialist support on booking systems.
* Manage clinics, including cancellations, reappointments, and checking clinic availability.
Person Specification
Essential:
* GCSEs or equivalent (5 GCSEs A*-C)
* Experience in booking outpatient appointments
* NHS experience
* Proficiency with PCS and ERS systems
* Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Desirable:
* Experience working in an Outpatient Bookings team
