About the Role
As a Children’s Social Worker in the Permanence Team, you will work with children, families, and carers to provide long-term planning and support for children in care. You will ensure permanent placements are stable, nurturing, and focused on the child’s well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement permanence plans for children in care.
* Work closely with foster carers, adopters, special guardians, and extended families to ensure long-term stability.
* Undertake assessments and care planning to promote positive outcomes for children.
* Work as part of a multi-agency team, including education, health, and legal professionals.
* Ensure all work complies with legislation, statutory guidance, and best practices.
About You
? A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.? Experience in children’s social care, fostering, adoption, or permanence planning.? Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and adoption regulations.? Excellent communication, assessment, and relationship-building skills.? A commitment to ensuring stability, security, and the best outcomes for children.
