This is a full time, hybrid role involving a minimum of 3 x office days per week at our pet-friendly support office in Waltham Abbey (Essex) or our DC in Middlewich and up to 2 x days per week from home (or other Jollyes location as preferred hours per week.
The Role: Supply Chain Manager
As our new Supply Chain Manager, you'll lead a talented team of analysts while also rolling up your sleeves allocating category responsibilities effectively across the team. You'll work closely with our Buying and Supply Chain Operations teams to ensure our shelves are stocked and our customers (and their pets) are happy.
A full job description is available on request, but to summarise your key responsibilities:
* Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Supply Chain Analysts
* Forecasting demand based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonal patterns
* Managing stock allocation and availability across our store network
* Collaborating with our Buying team to align on product launches and replenishment
* Driving continuous improvement in planning, forecasting, and inbound logistics
* Deputising for the Head of Supply Chain when needed
* Supporting cost-saving initiatives like supplier backhaul opportunities
* Reporting on performance and supporting system optimisation
Key measurements include forecast accuracy vs actual sales, stock turnover rate, cost per unit moved, product availability, SLA adherence and NPS scores.
The Skills – Supply Chain Manager
We're looking for someone who's not just great with data, but also a natural leader and collaborator.
You'll need:
* Experience in
retail supply chain planning, forecasting, or merchandising
* A proven track record of
team management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Excel and data tools are your best friends)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Familiarity with planning tools like Slimstock (Slim) and data visualisation platforms
