Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver history lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Develop engaging and differentiated lesson materials to cater to the diverse needs of students
* Assess and monitor student progress through effective formative and summative assessment strategies
* Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to guide their learning and growth
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the history curriculum and schemes of work
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student progress and achievement
Requirements
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Proven experience teaching history in a primary or secondary school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Understanding of effective assessment strategies and data analysis
* Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
