Overview
We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our supported living service in Hinckley is a welcoming and friendly environment, and no two days will be the same. You’ll enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local community hotspots, the next you could be unwinding with them by playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema. This is an amazing role for someone who wants to make a real difference, helping individuals grow in confidence and independence to meet their goals (for example, making dinner by themselves or going on holiday).

Responsibilities
* Help people gain more independence in their daily lives within a dynamic team.
* Teach new life skills and support personal care as needed.
* Encourage people to access local communities, socialise and participate in activities.
* Support people in a variety of settings, from community activities to home-based downtime (e.g., games, films, cinema).
* Support individuals to achieve their goals and grow in confidence and independence.
* Potentially travel to different roles/locations as required by the service.
Qualifications
* Experience is not required; a genuine caring attitude and a passion to improve quality of life are key.
* Some roles require male or female employees only, where indicated it is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
