SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA. We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and provide hands-on, pragmatic HR support across our operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment and making a real impact on the shop floor as well as at a strategic level. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring HR best practice is embedded across the business. Responsibilities will include: Advising managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies Assisting with training, development, and engagement initiatives Maintaining accurate HR records and HR metrics Supporting with initiatives that increase engagement amongst all staff Preparing bi-weekly payroll Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, preferably within manufacturing or a fast-paced operational setting Strong working knowledge of employment law Excellent communication and influencing skills A practical, solutions-focused approach CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working towards) is desirable Work pattern: Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm. After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9-day fortnight.
