Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the platform functionality and business processes related to a functional area
2. Understand and analyse business requirements to enable the design of detailed test requirements
3. Creation of clear, destructive, reusable and broad test cases that contain the appropriate level of detail
4. Draft and issue test plans, where appropriate
5. Plan and prioritise work for all iing testing
6. Creating and maintaining appropriate test data
7. Perform test execution over FNZ solutions; ensuring the changes developed are to an acceptable standard by reviewing solutions and testing the changes end to end once the feature is available
8. Author reusable tests and conducting end to end system, regression and mis-use case testing as part of the production readiness process
9. Assist with user acceptance testing or other client support activities if required
10. Create and maintain test scripts in a test management tool, to a specified quality standard
11. Document and publish using a test management tool, all test results to a defined standard
12. Document and report issues arising from testing in a timely manner, and manage their resolution and tracking
13. Raise, validate and re-test defects
14. Participate in defect triage meetings as directed
15. Provide estimates of the testing effort to the Delivery Manager as required
16. Provide regular and timely updates to the Delivery Manager on progress to plan as well as key risk and issues
17. Issue testing status andpletion reports to project teams and clients
18. Be an active member of the testmunity within FNZ, with the expectation that over time you will start contributing to team sessions and sharing best practice and lessons learnt
19. Assist in the ongoing development and improvement of testing standards and procedures across thepany
20. Proactively identify technical issues (environmental, coding and testing) that may impede test progress to enable early resolution of said technical issues
21. Maintain high standards regarding written and verbalmunication to ensure that information is clearly and concisely documented and appropriately disseminated
22. Support process improvement initiatives and identify new process improvements.
Essential requirements
23. Degree educated in a technical subject ( Science, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering) min.
24. Confident, and able to take initiative given client and delivery focused environment
25. Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills
26. Good teammunication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients
27. Highly developed written and oralmunication skills
28. Superior analytical thinking and problem solving.
