JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Parts Delivery Driver is to:
* Ensure parts are delivered promptly within the parts department delivery schedule.
Department/Business/Location: Parts
Reports to: Parts Operations Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Check invoices to ensure the correct parts are listed.
* Load stock items ready for dispatch.
* Report all customer issues to the parts manager promptly.
* Ensure the security and check the quality of all parts.
* Plan delivery routes effectively using knowledge of the local area.
* Maintain the delivery van in a clean and roadworthy condition.
* Drive safely and courteously, ensuring the safety and security of people, vehicles, and property, and report any faults or hazards.
Skills & Requirements
Essential
* Smart appearance
* Competency in numeracy and literacy
Desirable
* Advanced motoring qualification
Experience
* Desirable: Experience in a similar role
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm + overtime
Use of company van.
