SALARY SCALE: AFC £ 41,608- £50,702 (pro rata)
Applications are invited for a part time research nurse to support the Cystic Fibrosis Research Team across both adult and paediatric sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating a portfolio of complex research trials both commercial and academic. This will involve working with a high degree of independence to include study set up, participant recruitment, managing subject visits, technical study procedures, maintaining documentation and ensuring smooth running of studies. The post will involve working closely with the CF multidisciplinary team and Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and other personnel from outside agencies.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly-motivated registered nurse to join our research team. You should ideally have experience in clinical research, excellent inter-personal and communication skills, knowledge of the research process including ICH/GCP guidelines. You must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to an ever-changing working environment.
The post involve work at both the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh (base) and the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People sites.
