Vacancies
We currently have 2 permanent vacancies to join our team. This post is Monday to Friday, working various hours per week term time, 38-week contract as required.
Role: Madras College – Catering Assistants
* 2 posts – 18.5 hours per week, 38 week contract (hours of work are as required Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 2:30pm).
Salary and Benefits
* Competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and access to a range of benefits, including:
* £13.18 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
* Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised for 38 week contracts.

Responsibilities
This work involves providing customer service and ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether it’s Breakfast Club, Morning Break or Lunch you have served.
Qualifications and Training
* No previous experience required as on-the-job training is given, working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working as part of a team.
* You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
* Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
