New Directions Education is currently working with a number of primary schools in the Newport area who are looking to appoint reliable and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.

About the Role:
You will play an important role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals.
Duties may include:
1. Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
2. Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra guidance
3. Supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs
4. Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
5. Helping to maintain a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
6. Have experience working with children, schools or support settings
7. Are calm, adaptable and approachable
8. Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
9. Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to obtain one
10. Have a genuine interest in education and child development
