What will I be doing?
You will proactively address issues of anti-social behaviour affecting tenants. Managing high-level cases, you will determine the best course of action for suitable outcomes, possibly including court proceedings, using your legal background to ensure best practice and supporting victims. For cases not requiring court, you'll take other appropriate actions. You will support people, provide expert advice, and represent the Council in legal cases. This varied and challenging role requires balancing multiple priorities and working effectively with people and processes. Ultimately, you will help make communities safer and support individuals in accessing necessary services, making a real difference.
Experience and Qualifications
You should have knowledge of relevant legislation and court processes related to anti-social behaviour cases, with at least two years' experience managing such cases. Your background may include work in local authority housing, legal, or police sectors. A Level 3/4 qualification from the Chartered Institute of Housing is preferred. You should be empathetic, resilient, and capable of handling difficult conflicts while working with individuals with complex needs.
