National Sales Manager to strategically targeting Fleet LCV customers.
About the Role
Salary £40,000 to £45,000
The customer base shall be a mix of existing, developing and targeted customers to establish long-term, trusting relationships with. The role shall involve working beside an established National and Regional team in pitching products and services, building strong relationships with clients to develop sustainable repeat business in the UK linking in to our client base.
Responsibilities
* Identifying new business opportunities, including new clients and partnerships.
* Drive new customer acquisition growth by identifying and approaching strategic customers, understanding their business to make targeted contact to quickly identify their potential.
* Build future sales by managing a pipeline of prospects through customer relationship building and market awareness.
* Establish strong and lasting relationships with clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals for retention year on year and growth.
* Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
* The Ability to understand a customer’s requirement, then using the our in-house 3D software to design, quote and to offer a full conversion service.
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
* Maintaining our CRM to support strong management of accounts and communications.
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
* Collaboration with the sales team – to support and communicate opportunities between each other.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
* Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
* Develop trusted advisor relationships with our industry network and customer stakeholders.
* Communicate production programme progress regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
* Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
Qualifications
The successful candidate would have proven work experience within the commercial vehicle sector as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or relevant role.
Required Skills
* Be able to demonstrable the ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization and across the supply chain.
* You should have solid experience with CRM software (C4C training will be provided), MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
* An understanding of basic design software would be an advantage although not necessary as training will be provided for our in-house 3D design software.
* To be able to build genuine confidence and trust using excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
* Possessing strong verbal and written communication skills for customers, stakeholder networks, supply chain and the support team internally.
Pay range and compensation package
Competitive Salary £40,000 to £45,000, Strong unlimited commission structure, Quarterly Bonus, Vehicle – Demonstration van.
