We have an incredible opportunity as a Senior Data Strategy Manager to join our Business & Enterprise Architecture team.
Location: This role could be based in either our Birmingham, Telford, London, or Edinburgh offices, with a mix of office and home working.

Salary and benefits: £70,000 - £90,000 plus an indicative bonus range of 30%-60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, an excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3 days volunteering, and more.

The role
The Senior Data Strategy Manager will develop a cohesive and publishable Data Strategy, integrating inputs from the virtual Principal Architecture team, Business Architecture, and IT Leadership, covering all data capabilities across Phoenix Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Building stakeholder relationships to gather inputs for the Data Strategy and ensure annual updates.
* Delivering a comprehensive Data Strategy document within the IT Control Framework timelines.
* Understanding and summarizing business needs that inform the Data Strategy.
* Establishing drivers and principles for the Data Strategy.
* Defining Data Services offered by IT and their interaction with other data services.
* Describing the Data Operating Model, including delivery from Phoenix IT, Business, and third-party services.
* Articulating the federated Data Organization Structure across Phoenix Group.
What are we looking for?
* Extensive experience in Data Strategy development, governance, and compliance.
* Data Quality Assurance expertise.
* Understanding of enterprise-level data landscape, technology, and data modeling.
* Attention to detail and ability to identify opportunities to leverage data assets.
* Experience in challenging business leaders to adopt the data strategy and managing exceptions.
