We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Communication Support Worker to join a friendly and inclusive Special School in Haringey, supporting pupils across both primary and secondary age ranges. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in promoting inclusion, communication, and confidence among deaf learners. Key Responsibilities: Provide BSL communication support to enable deaf pupils to fully access lessons and school activities. Work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt lessons and resources for deaf students. Promote independence, inclusion, and confidence in every aspect of school life. Support pupils in developing strong communication and self-advocacy skills. Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for all students. Requirements: A recognised BSL qualification (minimum Level 2; Level 3 preferred). Experience supporting children or young people with hearing impairments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
