Requirements
Must have:
- Relevant level 3 industry specific qualification - Experience with platforms such as Windows Server, Office365, Google Workspace, Windows Operating System, Android, and iOS - Experience using InTune - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues - Proficiency in computer hardware setup, configuration, and troubleshooting - Knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, LANs, DNS, and Firewalls - Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users with technical problems while respecting our values and ethos - Resilience, flexibility and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment - Minimum two years of experience working in an IT support role - Methodical and well organized - Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points and access to own vehicle - Right to work in the UK - Willing to commute to the school based in Redhill, Surrey, within a one-hour distance
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals - Set up and manage user accounts and access permissions - Monitor and analyze network performance, including VPN, LAN, DNS, and Firewall - Collaborate with team members to resolve IT issues and implement solutions - Document and track support tickets using our ticketing system, Freshdesk - Assist with software installations and updates - Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates - Attend the school following a daily schedule and provide hands-on IT support and advice to our customers
