Overview
In this role, you'll take the lead in directing the campus Hard FM/engineering function, managing a multi-disciplinary team and contractors to deliver safe, compliant M&E services, planned and reactive maintenance, and audit-ready operations against SLAs/KPIs, ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency. Your impact will be felt every day as you collaborate with a team dedicated to keeping the estate running smoothly for students and staff, strengthening statutory compliance and H&S, optimising resources and supplier performance, and elevating client satisfaction across the university.
Responsibilities
* The individual will require a high level of knowledge of building services systems and lead the site team from a technical perspective with a high level of technical ability.
* Will hold a recognised trade in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
* Lead and manage a diverse workforce with a minimum of 2 years’ management experience.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a TFM / IFM environment.
* Confident in using Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience in compiling performance reports and presenting to management.
* Experience of using time management and payroll applications, including resource planning.
* Extensive experience of hard services and associated regulations.
* Understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Experience preparing for internal and external FM audits.
* Confident at building client and stakeholder relationships.
Work Details
* Days/Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
* Working Hours: 8.30am to 5pm
* Total Hours Per Week: 40hrs
