We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker (Accounts Executive) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, with scope for professional development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with FCA regulations
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and introducers, acting as a trusted adviser
· Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling during renewals and mid-term adjustments
· Deliver bespoke insurance solutions tailored to individual client needs
· Support clients through the claims process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
· Prepare market presentations and conduct broking exercises
· Maintain accurate client records using Acturis and other systems
· Ensure compliance with FCA, GDPR, IDD, and internal policies
· Report regularly to senior management on performance and client activity
· Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain high professional standards
Candidate Requirements
· Minimum 1 year's experience in insurance broking, account management, or sales (essential)
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
· Strong organisational and time management abilities
· Proactive approach with a focus on results and client satisfaction
· Fluent English speaker (additional languages are advantageous)
· Right to work in the UK (essential)
· Familiarity with FCA regulations and commercial insurance products (desirable)
· Experience with Acturis or similar CRM platforms (desirable)
