We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a full-time role offering a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, with opportunities for overtime.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00
Overtime may be available until 18:00 when required
Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour
Requirements:
* Applicants must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
* Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
* Previous van driving experience is essential
* Assembly experience is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out van driving duties for the majority of the role, completing scheduled delivery routes efficiently and safely
2. Follow pre-planned routes designed to ensure return to site by the designated finish time, with occasional flexibility required
3. Assist within the warehouse during quieter periods, supporting the assembly team as needed
4. Cut aluminium materials to required specifications using a chop saw (circular saw), following all health and safety procedures
