Business to Business Account Lead
Full time 37.5 hours based at our Central office in Preston.
Salary: £27,000-£30,000
This is a Fixed term contract for 12 months with a planned start date of April 2026.
Essential Skills and Experience
1. Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead customer meetings and influence internal stakeholders
2. Comfortable completing and interpreting weekly sales and service level analysis to drive continuous improvement
3. Strong problem-solving skills, ensuring day-to-day customer queries are handled efficiently and professionally
4. Proactive, collaborative, and able to work cross-functionally
5. Highly organised, able to manage multiple accounts while delivering a high standard of customer service
6. Commercially focused, with experience identifying growth opportunities
7. Must have a UK driving licence and be willing to travel with in the UK
Desirable Skills and Experience
8. Proven experience in a mid-level B2B sales or account management role
9. Strong understanding of food retail, wholesale, or foodservice environments, including customer and category dynamics
10. Confident negotiating pricing, managing cost prices, and supporting margin management
11. Experience planning and executing promotional activity, including pricing, forecasting, and post-promo analysis
12. Strong Excel skills and experience using CRM or sales reporting tools
