Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism to achieve their full potential? We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support within a specialist SEND school, helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils within a specialist SEND school, assisting their academic and personal development.
* Support pupils’ independence, communication, and social interaction skills in a nurturing environment.
* Collaborate with the school team to meet each pupil’s individual needs and goals.
Qualifications and Qualities
* Understanding of Autism and a commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs.
* Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Resilience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting to individual pupil needs.
