Finance Lead Subject Matter Expert
£38,332 - £39,558 plus a location allowance of £1,750 and excellent benefits.
Based in Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes with the flexibility of 60% hybrid work. Free shuttle bus available between central Milton Keynes and Hanslope Park.

Our work is varied and vital, and we focus on people and projects around the world, ensuring compliance with the National Audit Office and delivering year‑end accounts to Parliament.
Key Responsibilities
* Management and delivery of colleagues’ Hera objectives, leading on fixed assets, accounts receivable, cash management, general ledger, reporting and Oracle time and labour.
* Delivery of medium sized projects and ensuring the team’s expertise and skills are fully and appropriately developed.
* Managing, developing and aiding the personal progression of a B3 SME, keeping up to date with changes in the business environment and functional Oracle developments.
* Providing ‘Helpdesk’ assistance, answering queries and offering expert guidance to Hera users, developing friendly relationships with other SMEs, key business associates and external stakeholders.
* Ensuring Hera change control processes are followed at all times, managing your own professional development, and enhancing knowledge of Oracle Financials applications used by FCDO Services.
Candidate Qualifications
* Well‑developed experience in a finance function.
* Good practical understanding of at least two Oracle Finance modules.
* Ability to manage business change, with part‑qualification of CCAB, CIMA or equivalent.
* Confident verbal and written communicator, collaborative and highly motivated team worker.
* Staff management experience desirable, familiarity with project management and the commercial world.
* Up‑to‑date understanding of Artificial Intelligence an advantage.
* Knowledge of tax and financial accounting and experience working in a project delivery organisation with diverse colleagues and stakeholders.
