Chichester College, part of the Chichester College Group Ref: CC0014 Sports Centre Duty Manager (Bank) Variable hours £16.05 per hour We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Duty Manager at the Chichester College Sports Centre on a flexible bank basis. This is an ideal opportunity for university students studying sport, leisure, fitness or related fields who want hands-on experience in running a busy, customer-focused facility. You’ll gain valuable operational and leadership skills whilst working in a professional and supportive environment. About the Role: As a Duty Manager, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the Sports Centre. You’ll be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining safety and cleanliness, setting up for activities, and ensuring our customers have a great experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Sports Centre during your shift. Provide excellent customer service and deal with queries or issues promptly. Supervise and support centre staff to ensure effective team performance. Support events, bookings, and activities. What We’re Looking For: Experience in a customer service environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. A flexible and proactive approach to work, especially during evenings and weekends. First Aid at Work certification (or willingness to obtain).
