As a Benefits Senior Specialist, you'll be key to the Payroll, Time & Benefits Team, delivering exceptional customer service and advisory support. You'll ensure the seamless operations of benefits processes, absence management and end-to-end completion of payroll. This role involves vendor management across global and local benefits programs, system data maintenance and operational activities for People & Culture business processes. You'll also play a crucial role in assisting People, Rewards & Recognition (PR&R) chapters with the planning, development, and the implementation of company benefits programs, including cost analysis. Your contributions will extend to the continuous improvement of People Support Solutions delivery. A strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach are essential. Key Responsibilities : Benefits & Payroll Operations : Execute and provide expert customer service for all benefit and payroll operations activities, including working closely with the benefit and payroll vendors to ensure monthly operations run smoothly and accurately. This involves managing diverse flexible benefit programs for the UK and supporting the implementation of both local and global benefits initiatives. As the role sits within the Payroll, Time & Absence team, activities relating to benefits that link to the payroll will also be handled in this role, for example car salary sacrifice data processing. In addition, the role will include time and absence data tracking on Workday, ensuring data is captured correctly on the payroll system. Vendor Management & Data Integrity : Support the management of local benefits vendors, monitor Service Level Agreements, and directly assist with benefits enquiries and vendor support. You'll proactively identify and resolve issues, working closely with vendors to ensure high customer service and data accuracy. This also includes managing mass upload files and monitoring data flows between the benefit and payroll systems to ensure timely integration and compliance with regulatory requirements. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration : Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, providing guidance and advisory support to first-level response teams and expert assistance for complex benefits enquiries. You'll collaborate with P&C colleagues globally to ensure consistent and effective service delivery, contribute to onboarding and coaching new team members, and actively participate in cross-training activities. Continuous Improvement & Project Leadership : Maintain and develop process knowledge articles and ensure accurate documentation. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, maintain end-to-end ownership of processes, and ensure operations align with defined KPIs. Additionally, you will participate in and partially lead project activities, acting as a role model and ensuring service quality aligns with global People Support Solutions objectives. Who You Are: Experienced Professional : You're an integral part of a team focusing on a specific customer group, engaging with various functions and levels across the organisation. You bring expertise in benefit operations, strong knowledge of monthly payroll cycles and processes. Experience in benefits vendor management is preferred. Analytical & Detail-Oriented: You possess deep knowledge of UK Tax and National Insurance rules, general P&C know-how, and exceptional attention to detail. Your analytical ability is strong, including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). Results-Driven Communicator : You have a proven track record of delivering results in a matrix organisation, working independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Your strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for thriving in a complex, multicultural, and cross-border setting. Customer-Centric Problem Solver : You demonstrate customer centricity by anticipating needs, showing cultural awareness, and effectively managing responses with end-to-end accountability.
