Our client is super excited to move from their home to start their Cyber security course at the university of West England. They are looking for a team of two friendly personal care assistants that will support him daily, ensuring that care is delivered in a respectful and discreet manner. Our client will be living in university halls and you will be provided with a dedicated PA room. Day to day you will assist him with: - Personal Care - Health Care - Social Support - Housekeeping / Domestic duties - Transportation You will be required to drive the clients automatic vehicle. Care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided. About our Client: Our client has Cerebral Palsy and is a full-time electric wheelchair user. He is looking for a reliable and personable individual that will assist him daily ensuring he has the best time possible at university. He is studying Cyber Security at the University of West England and is passionate about all things computers. In his spare time, you can catch him playing Euro truck simulator or having a debate about Linux vs Windows. Your responsibilities will encompass every aspect of daily life to ensure their comfort and quality of life. As written by the client I would say I am polite, can be shy at first, but once I know a person I am chatty and sociable. I do love a good joke, I wish I could be better at telling them! I like my independence and, although I do need a lot of support, we wont be joined at the hip all the time. It would be my aim to make your time as my PA feel less of employment and more like building good working relationships and rapport with each other. My main interests include playing and analysing video games.I occasionally enjoy playing competitive games, especially with friends. I also like listening to music. One of my favourite genres is EDM and most of its subgenres, such as Drum and Bass, Psytrance and Dubstep. Once I get to know people, I am a very sociable and talkative person. I like to have debates about any topic that is being discussed at the time. I am really looking forward to starting university and having new experiences.
