Head of Public Law / Experienced SolicitorLocation: Cardiff / South Wales (hybrid & flexible working available)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceA well-established law firm with a strong South Wales presence is seeking an experienced Public / Administrative Law Solicitor to lead its Public Law team.This is a senior role suited to a solicitor who wants to work on high-quality public law matters without stepping away from the region, combining technical excellence with leadership responsibility.The RoleThe Public Law team undertakes a wide range of public and administrative law work across Wales and England, acting for both individuals and organisations. Matters include: EducationSocial carePublic service change and closureInquests and public inquiriesJudicial review proceedings, including matters before the High CourtYou'll have genuine input into the strategic direction of the department, while remaining closely involved in complex casework.
