Handle,pack,andtransportawiderangeofartworksincludingpaintings,sculptures,installations,anddelicateobjects.
Assistwithandexecuteon-siteartinstallationsandde-installationsatgalleries,museums,privateresidences,andfairs.
Loadandunloadartworkssafelyandefficientlyfromvehicles,usingappropriateliftingandsecuringtechniques.
Conductconditionchecksandreportanydiscrepanciesordamages.
Maintainaccuratedocumentationincludingconditionreports,packinglists,andinventorylogs.
Liaiseprofessionallywithclients,conservators,registrars,andcouriersduringprojects.
Maintaintools,vehicles,andequipmentingoodworkingcondition.
Supportwarehouseoperationsincludingartworkintake,inventorymanagement,andstorage.
Traveldomesticallyandoccasionallyinternationallyasrequiredforinstallationsorexhibitionsetups.
Requirements&QualificationsfortheFineArtTechnician
Minimum3yearsexperienceinafinearthandling,logistics,ormuseum/galleryenvironment.
ExcellentEnglishcommunicationskillsbothverbal,writtenand'inperson
Strongknowledgeofbestpracticesinartpacking,handling,andinstallation.
Validdriverslicense.
Excellentattentiontodetailandproblem-solvingskills.
Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
Flexibilitywithworkinghoursandwillingnesstotravel(CentralLondon&Europe)
