The Dementia Assessment and Support Service has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to enhance our team., You will be supporting specialist assessments to assess functioning; identify solutions to expressions of unmet need; working closely with families and carers. You will work creatively with an evidenced based practice.
You will support specialist interventions, as well as offering consultative knowledge and support to the MDT. You will be able to take responsibility for your own defined caseload of service users, under the support and supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists.
Your role will involve working closely with other agencies and local communities.
You will be able to function autonomously in multidisciplinary teams, with supervision from the Clinical Lead and support from specialist Occupational Therapists as well as the wider team.
