We are seeking a Senior Tender / Bid Writer to be based at our Telford Head Office, reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, to support and drive the Group’s ongoing commercial growth.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced bid professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of high-value, complex tenders.
The Role
You will lead the end-to-end tender process while working closely with senior stakeholders to support business development and growth opportunities across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, write and manage complex tender submissions for local authority, NHS and ICB contracts
* Support wider business development activity, including opportunity assessment and bid strategy
* Work directly with the Group MD and senior leadership team to align bids with commercial objectives
* Coordinate input from clinical, operational, finance, HR and quality teams
* Ensure all submissions are fully compliant, accurate and submitted on time
* Maintain and develop bid libraries, case studies and evidence
* Review commissioner feedback and continuously improve bid quality
Essential Requirements
* Proven track record as a Senior Tender / Bid Writer within healthcare, complex care or social care
* Demonstrable success winning public sector contracts
* Ability to manage multiple bids independently with minimal supervision
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality frameworks
* Excellent written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
Desirable
* Experience within complex care, learning disabilities, autism or mental health services
* Knowledge of CQC standards and healthcare governance
* APMP qualification (desirable but not essential)
