Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to now be offering a flexible temporary opportunity for a delivery Van Driver for our client based in Salisbury. As part of this role you will be responsible for delivering light goods in the local area using a 3.5 tonne van. 8-12 drops is the typical amount per day.
Position: Van Driver (3.5t Category B)
Days: Monday – Friday (flexible)
Start date: ASAP
Location: Salisbury
Pay Rate: £13.68 (daytime) – £15.69 (weekends). Quoted rate is PAYE advanced holiday pay.
The successful Van Driver will have:
1. a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
2. previous delivery experience using a 3.5t vehicle
3. great customer service skills
4. familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
5. your own transport to travel to work
