An exciting opportunity has arisen for Qualified Social Workers Health and Social Care Connect for Social Work Services within Glasgow HSCP, changing the way we deliver services using an asset based approach and have effective interface with partners and the 3rd sector. The service will span across Adults and Older People’s Services, Children and Families, Homelessness and Addictions, working in a multi-disciplinary way.
We are seeking energetic, talented, resilient and committed Social Workers to prevent long term involvement with statutory services where possible and provide excellent services to those who require it. You will have sound knowledge of assessment and care management; have practiced extensively under the relevant legislation; and work in a person-centred manner which will be fully embedded in your practice. You will be confident in managing risk and looking for innovative ways to promote independence and link people into the local community.
Applicants must possess a Degree / Diploma in Social Work (or Social Work equivalent).
Possession of Post Qualifying awards including Child Welfare and Protection Certificate and Practice Learning would be advantageous.

This post is permanent however the location will be temporary until 31st March 25 at which time this will be review.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Check
Please note as part of the local government pay deal, local authority staff are currently not required to pay SSSC fees.
