Key responsibilities:
Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools and dies to meet production requirements.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate tool production.
Operate a variety of workshop equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
Conduct tool testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve tooling designs.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the toolmaking process.
Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and modifications.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.Profile
A successful Toolmaker should have:
