Locum Dentist – Charity / Mobile Clinics | Kent | £450 per Day | Flexible Shifts
MBR Dental are currently assisting Dentaid, a not-for-profit dental charity, to recruit Locum Dentists to support outreach services across Kent, including Maidstone, Folkestone, Dover, and Margate.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to deliver essential dental care to vulnerable communities while benefiting from flexible locum work and strong clinical support.
Position Details
1. Ad hoc locum shifts available
2. Ongoing contracts until further notice
3. Monday to Friday availability (flexible days)
4. Regular monthly shifts available
5. 4–6 hours per day
6. £450 day rate
7. No lab bills
About the Role
8. Working within a mobile dental unit
9. Providing emergency dental treatment and primary care services
10. Referring complex cases when required
11. Travelling to community and outreach locations
You will be supporting a wide range of patients, including:
12. Individuals experiencing homelessness
13. Refugees and asylum seekers
14. Those affected by domestic abuse
15. Patients with addiction support needs
16. Families and looked-after children
17. Other vulnerable and underserved groups
Locations
18. Kent: Maidstone, Folkestone, Dover, Margate
19. Additional outreach locations may include County Durham and South Shields

Requirements
24. GDC registered Dentist
25. Minimum 4+ years’ UK post-graduate experience
26. Enhanced DBS required
27. Comfortable working in mobile / outreach settings
28. No NHS Performer Number required
