Job Title: Night Concierge Location: Canary Wharf, London Salary: £30,900 per annum Hours: Night shift rota (12-hour shifts) The Role We are looking for a professional Night Concierge to deliver a first-class service at a prestigious residential development in Canary Wharf. The role requires someone who is personable, proactive, and reliable, with a strong focus on resident satisfaction and safety. As the Night Concierge, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations overnight, handling resident requests, and providing a visible presence to create a welcoming, safe, and well-managed environment. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for residents and visitors during night hours, providing a professional welcome and handling all enquiries. Manage all deliveries and collections, ensuring residents are notified promptly and items are stored securely until collected. Oversee key access via the Traka key system, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Respond to and escalate any apartment defect queries or building issues through the correct channels. Support and oversee the use of resident amenity spaces, ensuring they are opened/closed on schedule, set up for bookings, and reset after use. Assist with resident events and private bookings, liaising with external providers where necessary. Conduct regular patrols of the development, reporting maintenance, safety, or security concerns. Act as the main point of contact for emergencies such as leaks, power outages, or fire alarms, working closely with the security team and taking on Fire Marshal duties (training provided). Maintain a strong working knowledge of the buildings systems and procedures to ensure effective response to any incidents overnight. Consistently uphold service standards, ensuring every interaction with residents and visitors is professional, attentive, and personalised. Candidate Profile Previous experience as a residential concierge, night duty manager, or in a front-of-house/customer-facing role in a residential environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. A genuine passion for providing the highest level of customer service. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, especially during emergencies. Well-presented, approachable, and able to build rapport quickly with residents and visitors.
