Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) Location: Nottinghamshire Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Lecturer to join our team in Nottinghamshire on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and practical training across a range of plumbing programmes, supporting learners to achieve industry-recognised qualifications and progress into employment or further study. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Plumbing Teach both theoretical knowledge and practical plumbing skills Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback Monitor and support learner progress, attendance, and achievement Maintain accurate records in line with awarding body and quality requirements Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and quality standards Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement Act as a course tutor where required, providing academic and pastoral supportEssential Requirements Experience teaching or training in an educational setting (e.g. FE college, training provider, apprenticeships) Significant industry experience in Plumbing A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one, such as: PGCE or Cert Ed Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET) Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) Relevant industry qualifications, including: NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) Up-to-date knowledge of current plumbing standards, regulations, and best practice Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsDesirable Experience delivering apprenticeship programmes Assessor and/or Internal Quality Assurance qualifications (A1/CAVA, TAQA, IQA) Gas qualifications (where applicable) Experience working with awarding bodies and quality frameworksWhat We Offer Competitive salary up to £44,000 per annum Full-time, permanent contract 37-hour working week Opportunities for professional development and teacher training Supportive and collaborative working environment in NottinghamshirePermanent Positions eXede Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency and the successful applicant will be employed directly by our client.
