Job Description
The successful candidate will join the West of Scotland Breast Screening Service, which offers mammography screening to 300,000 women on a three-year cycle across static and mobile units. The service covers Greater Glasgow, Argyll and Clyde, Lanarkshire, and West Forth Valley Health Boards.
The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centered mammography screening services, including direct patient care under supervision. The shift pattern is Monday to Sunday, 08:00 to 20:00, with flexible extended hours. The position is part-time, with salary pro-rata.
Requirements include:
* Higher Certificate in Mammography (training provided if needed)
* Two Scottish Highers or equivalent
* Full Driving Licence and access to a car (car leasing may be available)
Experience in NHS settings is desirable. The post may be an Annex 21 post depending on qualifications.
