We are an IBMS accredited training laboratory. The department regularly holds lunchtime seminarsgiven byinternal and external speakers and we have an experienced Training Lead in post to support training needs. You must be keen to develop your knowledge and skills but to also develop others. To work closely with the Haematology Operational Manager, Blood Transfusion manager and theConsultant Pathologists to deliver a quality driven, cost effective andcustomer focused Service, including Haematology & BloodTransfusion specialities.
To practice as a State registered BMS and contribute to thescientific output of the Service, in a manner appropriate to theprofessional experience of the post holder. To take part in programmes to ensure that all staff areappropriately trained and developed. To assist in realignments of elements of service provision, in closeco-operation with the Consultant Pathologists, the DepartmentalManagement teams and the Haematology Services Manager. To perform test procedures, often of a complex nature, accuratelyrecording & reporting results All interviews will be face to face applicants should only apply if able to attend site for interview.
