Electrical Project ManagerLocation: London (Cheapside)Salary: £65,000 £70,000 + packageSector: Electrical Contracting / Building Services / M&EJob DescriptionWe are working with a leading engineering contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality electrical design and build solutions across Londons commercial built environment. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their project delivery team, taking ownership of key schemes across central London.The business delivers a wide range of complex electrical projects including commercial office fit-outs, CAT A & CAT B refurbishments, landlord upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and specialist electrical installations. Projects are typically fast-paced, high-spec, and delivered in live or semi-live environments.As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards.
You will act as the key interface between clients, consultants, site teams, and subcontractors, driving programme performance and maintaining strong commercial control throughout.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical projects from inception through to handoverManage full project lifecycle including planning, procurement, delivery, commissioning, and completionOversee site teams including supervisors, engineers, and subcontractorsCoordinate with design teams to ensure buildability and technical complianceManage project programmes, budgets, variations, and commercial reportingEnsure strict adherence to health & safety standards and CDM regulationsLiaise directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholdersDrive progress meetings, site reporting, and project documentationResolve technical and on-site delivery issues efficientlyEnsure projects are delivered to specification, programme, and profitability targetsRequirementsProven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services / M&E sectorStrong electrical bias with hands-on understanding of installation and deliveryExperience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projectsStrong knowledge of CAT A / CAT B projects and landlord electrical worksExcellent stakeholder and client-facing communication skillsStrong commercial awareness (budgets, variations, cost control)Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site teamsSMSTS, ECS/CSCS (preferred)Strong understanding of UK electrical standards and regulationsBased within commutable distance of London / willing to work in central London full-timePackage£65,000 £70,000 basic salaryBenefits package (to be confirmed)Long-term pipeline of London-based projectsStrong progression opportunities within growing contractorhTPBN1_UKTJ
