PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £36,000 - £39,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Plus London Weighting Allowance of £5,441. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This is a 12 month Fixed Term contract role to support the team across the compliance team at UKTV and BBC Studios.
WHY JOIN THE TEAM
The Compliance department at UKTV and BBC Studios ensures that all commissioned and acquired content meets regulatory and editorial standards before broadcast. The Compliance Operations team supports this work by managing the flow of content through the compliance review process by tracking deadlines, liaising with colleagues and ensuring Compliance Advisors receive programmes as required.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
* Liaising with stakeholders (Red Bee Media Prep, UKTV linear channels, UKTV VOD team, UKTV Operations teams) on all queries relating to required material for new content scheduled on UK services.
* Owning weekly materials meeting between UKTV and RBM to ensure any content delivery issues are surfaced with view to resolve them before they impact on UKTV business deadlines.
* Liaising with stakeholders to ensure all newly required content is triggered by deadline to meet transmission and VOD launch date deadlines.
* Liaising with teams to ensure that all required content is triggered by promo deadline so as not to impact on Creative Team's ability to deliver promotions by deadline.
* Dealing with various teams' request for material to ensure that it can be fulfilled by deadline.
* Working with Finance and Acquisitions Teams to identify content that has passed QC to ensure contracted payments are made.
* Collating data pertaining to completed programme volumes [both historic and predicted]
* Producing weekly "promo report" to help identity content required by UKTVs Creative Team
* Working with Creative Team on issues relating to material delivery that will impact on Creative Team deadlines.
* Coordinates and tracks inbound viewing material required by the Compliance Team for global services
* Helps extract existing ratings data from Compliance system Freeway for new service launches
* Supporting Senior Compliance Advisors with ad hoc requests to assist in day to day compliance operations
* Updates compliance ratings data into broadcast management systems for global services as and when needed.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Proven experience managing and coordinating media metadata
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Strong track record of delivering comprehensive administrative support
* Background working in traffic management or coordinator positions
* Familiarity with broadcast scheduling systems
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
* Knowledge of WhatSon system preferred
* Experience within media, production, creative agency or a broadcaster
