Artemis Human Capital is partnering with a leading FMCG organisation to recruit a Procurement Specialist. Reporting to the Head of Risk Management, this role will support the administration and compliance of key Group policies, with a strong focus on third-party spend. You will work closely with decentralised teams to ensure value for money and effective risk management, while collaborating with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation and contract negotiation, maximising group-wide purchasing power. What youll be doing: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to secure the best commercial terms and conditions. Support the Groups strategy to consolidate suppliers and contribute to the development of a Group-wide preferred supplier list for decentralised spend outside the centralised procurement function. Ensure contracts with key suppliers are current and in place for all critical services and products. Support decentralised functions in the procurement of new suppliers, including risk assessments, tendering, supplier due diligence, and execution of contractual terms with appropriate KPIs. Maintain the Groups third-party supplier register. Conduct ad-hoc audits of new supplier procurements to ensure full compliance with the Groups Framework. Perform value-for-money compliance audits to ensure spend aligns with Group policies (e.g. corporate travel spend). Support regulatory compliance with Data Protection legislation (GDPR) by ensuring operational policies and procedures are kept up to date. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies that deliver value across cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with relevant European legislation, the Windsor Framework, industry standards, and organisational policies. Provide monthly updates on savings identified and key metrics used to measure the success of cost transformation initiatives. What we are looking for: Degree qualified OR more than 5 years relevant experience Minimum of 3 years experience in a finance or purchasing/procurement function, ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG, or food retail environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). High attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Commercially focused with proven negotiation capability. Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available). Contact Nicky Strutt
